Albuquerque, NM based drummer Brian Burton is an honored graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston.  Since graduating, he has recorded hundreds of released tracks, performed over 4,000 gigs, and taught over 30,000 drum lessons.  He studied with many amazing teachers, highlighted by Kenwood Dennard, Rod Morgenstein, Bob Moses, Jeff Sipe and Dave DiCenso.  

He writes many of his own educational drum material and integrates current technology into his teaching.  His students have gone on to receive prestigious awards, scholarships, music school admissions, band gigs, and praise band positions.  

In Charlotte, NC, Brian was a full-time professional for 18 years from 2002-2019.  He toured with Cast Iron Filter, and played for NBA, NFL, and NASCAR events.  He relocated to Albuquerque in 2020, where he has performed and recorded with regional and national artists such as Micki Free, Noah Reid, Outer Range TV Show, Dark Winds TV Show, Ceekay Jones, and the ABQ Isotopes.  He is currently the house drummer at Rio Grande Studios, St. Stephens United Methodist Church, and regularly gigs with Diamond Empire Band, White Sands and Ryan Painter and the Resistors.  Brian and his wife Caroline have a dog named Mango and a pig named Jackfruit.
